RaidShell (raidshell.fly.dev) · a BeardedTortle app · last updated July 19, 2026

RaidShell is a free raid companion for Escape from Tarkov. The short version: your progress lives in your own browser, we never see your email or real name unless you choose a feature that needs it, and we never sell data. The details:

What stays on your device

Your quest progress, goals, settings, profile name, and similar data are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device unless you turn on cloud save.

Cloud saves & Twitch sign-in

AI screenshot scans

If you use screenshot import (quests, gun builds), your screenshot is sent to OpenAI to be read, then discarded. If you tick the optional "help improve the tool" box, we keep that screenshot to improve scan quality; otherwise we don't store it. Daily scan limits are enforced per person using a one-way hash of your IP address — we never store the raw IP.

Community features

Things you deliberately share are public to other players: spawn photos, named spots, death markers, gun builds, callouts, tips, and similar community submissions, along with the display name you chose. A random anonymous ID ties your submissions together for rate-limiting and moderation. Votes are anonymous.

Ko-fi supporters

If you support us through Ko-fi, Ko-fi processes your payment (see their policy) — we never see your card details. To match your Pro access, we store a one-way hash of the email you used on Ko-fi — not the address itself.

Analytics

We count page views and daily unique visitors using a hashed IP that resets daily. No advertising IDs, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics scripts.

Advertising

The RaidShell landing page may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com. The app itself (wheel, quests, maps) does not show ads.

What we never do

Data removal

Local data: clear your browser storage, it's gone. Cloud saves, community posts, or anything else: ask in the community Discord and we'll remove it.
